KAÏROS

Series of 13 digitally reworked pictures conceived around three notions of time :

Chronos : linear time or the quantitative time of human life, running from birth through maturity to death.

Kairos : the time of the opportune action or the qualitative time which gives a moment its depth, a decisive tipping point.

The Aion : cyclical time or the time of the eternal repetition, the time of the «afterlife.»

Kairos is a journey through time, a dance of bodies suspended across a lifetime, each fixed in a moment when something is just about to happen. Flesh becomes marble, bodies become sculpture. Linear, floral or animal motifs avow the eternal, the universal substance within each body.​
