FLIGHT, FIGHT, FREEZE
Icare - Flight, Fight, Freeze is a fragmented figure, crisscrossed by pixelated vertical lines.
His fall is a punishment for his hubris: having aspired to go beyond the scope of concrete reality, he is propelled towards an opposing absolute, that of the amniotic sea. It is a refuge frozen in time, a suffocating and protective sleep.
The disregarding of his body reflects the original sin: Icarus at the moment of his fall is suspended in his condition as a sexed being, guilty of existence, far from the Eden.
